Don King’s Concrete & Masaonry is a full turn-key concrete and masonry contractor. Our services include providing all associated materials, labor, equipment, supervision and office management support for concrete and masonry construction. We specialize in medium to large retail, commercial, and industrial projects including multiple levels in the southeastern United States. Much of our work is repeat business with our clients due to our successful implementation and achievement of our core values: SAFETY–QUALITY– SCHEDULE.

Concrete with steel reinforcement are the foundation materials of most structures. Don King’s Concrete & Masonry provides shop drawings for the steel reinforcement of the foundation prior to construction. On the project site we begin with the layout of the foundation then the excavation of the dirt and/or installation of forms. Our team of installers place and tie the steel reinforcement, place anchor bolts and any other designed embedments. All foundations are quality control inspected prior to placement and finishing of the concrete.

Post Tension slabs are an alternate to conventional reinforced slabs.  By adding strands of steel cables and stressing them after the concrete placement, the amount of concrete required is reduced. The final product results in a stronger slab. These slabs provide a major cost savings over conventional slab designs. Don King's Concrete & Masonry is a leader in Post Tension construction for over twenty years.

Many structures incorporate cast in place concrete components which mainly consist of columns, beams, walls, elevated decks, elevator pits and sometimes architectural features. Don King’s Concrete & Masonry provides forms, shoring, bracing, etc. as well as engineering designs for the loads imposed by shored components. We have a long history of incorporating a talented work force that provides accurate dimensioned and quality finishes for our cast in place work.

Sometimes projects require super-flat slabs. These are common for warehouses, retail spaces and industrial centers. Don King’s Concrete & Masonry incorporates the use of laser screeds and other specialized equipment to achieve the design required “F Number” for the project. We also employ experienced supervisors and finishers that give Don King’s Concrete the reputation as a leader in providing flat slabs.

Masonry Block, also known as CMU, is one of the most used materials in construction today. Don King’s Concrete & Masonry has been a masonry contractor since the company’s inception. With a crew of over fifty masons, our masonry division goes hand-in-hand with our concrete division providing a full turn-key service for our Clients. The turn-key scope of work that we provide includes the masonry block, reinforcing and concrete cell fill.
